If i am saying that the melting point of an object is decreasing , so what it mean , does it mean that the melting point of that object is going negative or going positive

It means that

If let's say that the melting point of a product X is 1500K then Decrease in melting point means that it's melting point will become 1300K or anything lesser than 1500K .

But that also means that The product will be converted into liquid state sooner than before.
