if i am unable to clear JEE 2021 , then can i take a drop and sit for JEE 2022 exams?

candidates to sit in running and 2 consecutive dropped year. If someone passes 12 in 2020,then he can sit in JEE Main 2020,2021 and 2022 but he can sit in JEE Advanced only in 2020 and 2021.
