If I attempt both optional questions in a Board exam, will I get marks for the first one or will I get zero marks? I have read on Quora that the examiner doesn't give ANY marks because doing so is considered a malpractice. Please elaborate and explain. If you have done the same, what happened with your paper?

yes you will get marks
- if you will attempt both optional questions in a Board exam then too you will get marks
- doing so is in fact not considered a malpractice.
- you will get marks for the first question only
- it is not a mal practice but you should avoid doing that as it will consume your time in large amounts
- so always avoid doing both optional questions.
- there is a chance that examiner gets irritated and may deduct marks and you can't may them increase the marks also
- yes for sure you will get marks and not zero marks unless and until you wrote the correct answer
- also things do depend on the attitude of examiner who will check your paper , so do have wise decisions
