Given,

price of 3 kilograms of chicken and 2 kilograms of is rupees 600.

price price of 2 kilograms of chicken and 4 kilograms of face is rupees 700.

To find,

The price of 1 kilogram of chicken and 1 kilogram of fish.

Solution,

Let, price of 1 kg of chicken = Rs. x

Price of 1 kg of fish = Rs. y

Price of 3kg chicken = Rs. 3x

Price of 2kg fish = Rs. 2y

Price of 2kg chicken = Rs. 2x

Price of 4kg fish = Rs. 4y

According to the question,

3x+2y = 600

2×(3x+2y) = 2×600

6x+4y = 1200....(1)

2x+4y = 700 .....(2)

By, subtracting (2) from (1), we get that,

6x+4y-2x-4y = 1200-700

4x = 500

x = 125

Putting the value of x in (2), we get that,

2×(125) + 4y = 700

250+4y = 700

4y = 700-250

4y = 450

y = 112.50

Hence, price of 1kg chicken is Rs. 125 and 1kg fish is 112.50
