If you had the chance to go live on the Moon and you got 30 days to get ready and say your goodbyes, would you go?

Your newborn may be vulnerable to these 6 serious diseases.

No.

What could possibly entice anyone to live on the Moon unless they were an extreme agoraphobic who was content to live in a ten-by-ten cell and just spend their days gazing out their moon base window at a beautiful Earth. But even agoraphobics get homesick and miss the smell of fresh cut lawn.

Unless of course the moon had a vast underground network inside which housed a benevolent alien hyperadvanced civilization, that had 'holodeck' technology, unlimited replicator rations, and and endless supply of young, available human females for entertainment.

But knowing my luck (and the only thing I won in my entire vegetarian life was a meat raffle), there isn't such an underground base. So I'm just going to pat you on the back and wish you good luck in finding such a candidate, because you're going to need it.

PS: If instead of the moon you were offering a ticket to another Earth-like destination, the answer may be different. In that case, I might leave in order to escape the wrongs we've done to Mother Nature here. But only if I can take the good parts of Earth with me.

If you go to the moon, what will you do?

What would you do if you got a chance to land on the moon?

What would be the five things you would take to the moon?

What would happen to people who live their entire lives on the moon?

Would you fly to the moon?

No.

I'd love to visit; the trip would be fun. But to live there? Nope. I like the sunshine and fresh unfettered air, fresh vegetables and balmy tropical islands, crisp fall weather and snow-skiing, here on earth, way too much.

And trees. Big leafy trees - willows, oaks, banyan, mangrove, elm, apple and orange and apricot and persimmon and plum trees - I like them too much, too.

Maybe in 100-150 years. But not today.
