If I have a hot cup of coffee and put an ice cube in it to help it cool so I can drink it, how is the energy transferred?

Explanation:

Your Ice Cube will begin to melt making your Coffee Cooler than before. There's also a white film on the surface of the cup. This is the Ice Water from your Freezer.

Your Coffee might have a weird taste from freezer water. I'd rather leave my cup of Coffee cool in the air than using Ice to change the structure of content

hope it helps you

thank you!
