If I is the current through a wire and 'e' is the charge of electron then the
number of electrons int seconds will be given by -

(B) e/lt
(C) It/e

Explain the reason for this as well.​

If e is charge of electron , then this will be absolutely 1.6 × 10 ^ ( - 19 ) Coulombs .

Now , by unitary method , 1 coulomb of charge = 1 / 1.6 × 10 ^ ( - 19 ) = 6.25 × 10 ^ 18 electrons.

Hence , in a given unit time ( t ) and a current of ( I ) Amperes , if ' e ' number of charges flow , then the actual number of electrons flowing would be 6.25 × 10 ^ 18.
