Students who opt to appear for the Mathematics-Basic examination in the CBSE-AISSE can opt for Science stream to pursue their high school (10+2) studies.
But those who opt for Mathematics-Basic cannot take Mathematics as a subject in +2 (refer to the next paragraph). Those who wish to take Maths will have to opt for the Mathematics-Standard examination.
