Correct sentence - If I were a millionaire, I would help the needy.

• In the first blank "were" will come. Despite the I am a singular person but the grammar rules used with I are as same as grammar rules with plural things.
• In the second blank "would help" will come because is the correct form as the structure required and  "would have helped" will not be the correct answer.
