So much for the job oriented education, but, if I was the education minister I would also ensure more moralistic and human teachings in schools, where I think human beings are made. The necessity of loyalty to the country would also be one of the important tenets of teaching in schools.

First of all.. I would redefine the standard of education. Make the syllabus more current and updated.

Ensure that the students learn practically rather than theoretically. Mugging up has never lead to any use for me anyways.

Include more industrial visits and internship opportunities so that the students will be absorbed once they are well versed in what they've learned so far.

Ensure that the underprivileged get a chance at education.

Finally I would abolish this quota based system.. Everyone should get equal opportunities. Why should the hard working suffer while people trying their least effort be rewarded with much more.
