If I write Herpes as a viral STD in cbse board exam even tough it is not in ncert but is a perfectly valid Viral STD. How does Cbse examiners check this?

Examiners will comply with the General Instructions given by the Board, plus special instructions by the Moderator. Instances where any answer page would go without being evaluated may be extremely rare.

They would give u marks because what you have written is a fact which is correct.
But at the same time if the examiner is not a bio teacher they would strictly follow what is given in the answer key provided to them.

It is...but they would always prefer what the first teacher has checked...may be even they have the answer key
