good question here is your answer....

wheat plants have harmone which only release during winter season means cold climate which helps in germination of flowers later which is converted into wheat seeds.

But in kharif season wheat plants don't get enough cold temperature due to which harmone is release because of this wheat seeds sown in kharif season don't get flowers and do not produce wheat seeds.

Then the whole crop might get destroyed because of many factors such as lack of optimum temperature, adaptability & availability of pests.

  • Kharif season includes the rainy season, which is not favourable for the growth of wheat crop.
