Functional group is always given first priority. And then if there is triple bonds then it is given priority after functional group and after than double bond is given priority

NOOBSCIENCESTUDENT: bro .. we give priority to the functional group then double bond
NOOBSCIENCESTUDENT: so Br is first
arpitasahani: Double bond is towards last
arpitasahani: And remember Br is not a functional grp rather a substituent
NOOBSCIENCESTUDENT: Br is halogen and halogen is also a functional group
NOOBSCIENCESTUDENT: its not compulsary that functional group must have carbon atom
NOOBSCIENCESTUDENT: double bond are always given least priority
Shreya69614: he's right, it's bromoprop-2-ene
Shreya69614: Br is the functional group dear
arpitasahani: Okk

Functional groups are to be given the priority. The IUPAC name for the compound in the image will be Bromoprop-2-ene
