Rice consumed by 150 children in 21 days, per head 125 grams will be

150 * 21 * 125 = 393750 --------(1)

Total students after new ones joined = 150 + 25 = 175

Consumption per head = 100 grams

Let the rice lasts for x days

Rice consumed by 175 children in x days, per head 100 grams will be

175 * 100 * x = 17500x -----------(2)

Equating 1 and 2

393750 = 17500x

x = 393750/17500

x = 22.5

Rice will last for 22.5 days
