The velocity of light in a medium is 1.5×10(8)m/'s (v)

Velocity of light in air is 3×10(8)m/'s (c)

Hence, N is

N=1.5×10(8)÷3×10(8)

Ans:-2

Answer:

absolute refractive index of the medium is 2

Explanation:

we know,

n = \frac{c}{v}

⇒ n = \frac{3*10^{8} }{1.5* 10^{8} }

⇒ n = 2

So, absolute refractive index of the medium is 2
