If in a right angled triangle an acute angle is one-fourth of the other . Find the other angles .

In right angled triangle ABC.

Then,b=90°

let the one angle be x so other angle is x/4.

We know that sum of all angle in triangle is 180°

so, a+b+c=180°

put the values given above,

x+x/4+90°=180°. (x+x/4=5x/4)

5x/4=90°

5x=90°*4

x=90°*4/5°

x=72°

hence, one angle is 72°

other is 72°/4=18°
