If in a right angled triangle whose hypotenuse is 65 cm, the length of shortest side be x cm and its area is 924 cm2. Find x

Answer:

ok the solution will be

by applying Pythagoras theorem

hypotenuse sqaure =base square + perpendicular square

so, now

65 *65 = 56 *56 +perpendicular sq

perpendicular sq. =4225-3136

perpendicular square =1089

sqaure rooting both sides,

perpendicular =root over 1089

perpendicular =33 cm

the other side is 33 cm.
