given;

∆ RPQ is right angle triangle

where ,

QR= 26cm and QP=24cm

to find;

the length og PR

now

by Pythagoras theorem

qr ^{2}  = pq ^{2}  + rp ^{2}  \\  \\( 26) ^{2}  = (24) ^{2}  + pr ^{2}  \\  \\ 676 = 576 + pr ^{2}  \\  \\ 676 - 576 = pr ^{2}  \\  \\ pr   =  \sqrt{100}  \\ pr = 10

hence proved , pr=10 cm

Given :-

  • Lenght of QR = 26 cm

  • Lenght of QP = 24 cm

  • Right angled at P

To Find :-

  • Lenght of PR

Solution :-

By using Pythagoras theorem

( PR )² + ( QP )² = ( QR )²

⇒ ( PR )² + ( 24 )² = ( 26 )²

⇒ ( PR )² + 576 = 676

⇒ ( PR )² = 676 - 576

⇒ ( PR )² = 100

⇒ PR = √100

⇒ PR = 10 cm

Lenght of PR us 10 cm
