The total number of pairs that can be formed from 10 people = 10C2 = 45. If all of these pairs shake hands, each person in the room will shake hands with EVERY OTHER PERSON in the room. The result will be 9 HANDSHAKES PER PERSON.

Given: Here we have given Persons = 10

To Find: we have to find the total hand shaked

Step by step solution:

N = 10

They shaked the hand with each other

The formula to calculate this is \frac{N(N-1)}{ 2}

total hand shaked =

\frac{10(10-1)}{2}\\\\= \frac{10\times9}{2} \\= \dfrac{90}{2} \\= 45

FInal answer:

Hence the answer is 45
