Answer :-

  • The measure of ∠ B is 55°.

Given :-

  • In ∆ABC,

  • ∠ A = 65°.
  • ∠ C = 60°.

To find :-

  • The measure of ∠ B.

Step-by-step explanation :-

  • Here, the measure of ∠ A and ∠ C have been given to us. We have to find the measure of ∠ B. Let's do it by using the angle sum property!

We know that :-

  \underline{ \boxed{\sf Sum \:  of  \: all \:  the \:  angles  \: in  \: a \:  triangle = 180^{\circ}}}

Here,

  • ∠ A = 65°.
  • ∠ C = 60°.

----------------------------

Hence,

 \hookrightarrow\rm \angle A +  \angle B +  \angle C = 180^{ \circ}

Substituting the values of A and C,

 \hookrightarrow\rm65^{ \circ} +\angle B +  60^{ \circ}  = 180^{ \circ}

Adding the numbers,

 \hookrightarrow\rm125^{ \circ} +  \angle B = 180^{ \circ}

Transposing 125° from LHS to RHS, changing it's sign,

 \hookrightarrow\rm\angle B =  \rm180^{ \circ}  - 125^{ \circ}

Subtracting 125° from 180°,

 \hookrightarrow\overline{\boxed{\rm\angle B = 55^{ \circ}}}

----------------------------

  • So, the measure of ∠ B = 55°.

Answer: ∠A = 40 , ∠B = 25 and ∠C = 115

Question:-

If in ∆ABC, ∠A = 65

If in ∆ABC, ∠A = 65and ∠C = 60

If in ∆ABC, ∠A = 65and ∠C = 60then what is the measure of ∠B?

Given Explain

∠A + ∠B = 65

∠B + ∠C = 140

∠A + ∠B + ∠B + ∠C = 65 + 140

(∠A + ∠B + ∠C) + ∠B = 205

180 + ∠B = 205

∠B = 205 - 180

∠B = 25

∠C = 140 - ∠B

∠C = 140 - 25

∠C = 115

∠A = 65 - ∠B

∠A = 65 - 25

∠A = 40

Therefore

∠A = 40 , ∠B = 25 and ∠C = 115
