= a + 5 * 10
= a + 50 ----(1)
t₂ = a + ( 2 - 1 ) d
= a + d --- (2)
Therefore,
t₆ - t₂ = a + 50 - ( a + d)
= a + 50 - a - 10
a will get cancelled out,
= 50 - 10
= 40
