Answer:

n = 4

Given:-

  • a =6
  • d = -2
  • an = 0

To find:-

  • find the value of n

solution:-

as we know

formula of tn

 t_{n} = a + (n - 1) \times d \\  \\ put \: all \: the \: value \\  \\ 0 = 6 + (n - 1) \times  - 2 \\  \\ 6 + ( - 2n  + 2) = 0 \\  \\ 6 - 2n + 2 = 0 \\  \\  - 2n =  - 8 \\  \\ n =  \frac{ - 8}{ - 2}  \\  \\ n = 4
