Dear student,

Answer: T₁₀₁ = -76

Solution:

As we know that nth term in an AP is calculated as Tn = a+(n-1)d

So here a+6d = 18 .... eq 1

a+ 17d = 7 ......eq 2

Subtract both eq 1 and eq 2,

6d-17d = 18-7

-11d = 11

d = -1

Put the value of d = -1

a+6(-1) = 18

a = 18+6

a=24

So, T₁₀₁ = a+(101- 1) d

T₁₀₁ = 24+(100)(-1)

T₁₀₁ = 24-100 = -76

So, T₁₀₁ = -76

Hope it helps you.
