If we replace all the alphabets with numbers then we get 32423232414 as a result. So when we add them the result is 30.So your answer is also 20

Solution :-

AMPLENESSES

1) All the vowels at even places are replaced by 1

# There is only one vowel at 10th position, which is E.

⇒ E = 1

⇒ 1*1 = 1

2) All the consonants at even places are replaced by 2.

# There are 4 consonants in this word at even places, i.e. M at 2nd, L at 4th, N at 6th and S at 8th position respectively.

⇒ M = 2, L = 2, N = 2 and S = 2

⇒ 2*4 = 8

3) All the vowels at odd places are replaced by 3.

# There are 3 vowels at odd places in this word, i.e. A at 1st, E at 5th and E at 7th position respectively.

⇒ A = 3, E = 3 and E = 3

⇒ 3*3 = 9

All the consonants at odd places are replaces by 4.

# There are 3 consonants at odd places, i.e. P at 3rd, S at 9th and S at 11th position respectively.

⇒ P = 4, S = 4 and S = 4

⇒ 4*3 = 12

Number obtained = 32423232414

Sum of all these digit =

3 + 2 + 4 + 2 + 3 + 2 + 3 + 2 + 4 + 1 + 4

= 30

So, sum of all these digits is 30.
