This is a famous tricky question.

If your answer is 30%, then you're completely wrong. ^_^.

Let it prove mathematically. Let us assume the income of Abhi to be "x".

Then, income of Sneha will be 30% more of x i.e. x + x * 0.3 = 1.3x.

Now, the question is x is what percentage less than 1.3x.

let it be y%.

i.e. 1.3x - 1.3x * 0.0y = x

or, 1.3x - x = 13xy/1000

or, 300x = 13xy

or, y = 300/13 = 23.076%

Therefore, if income of sneha is 30% more than that of abhi then income of abhi is 23.076% less than that of Sneha.
