If India is the second most populated country in the world, thn why is it not coming second in olympics?

It is true that we are holding the 2 nd position in population but we are not able to have a good position in Olympics. It's because here no one is giving importance to sports. If anyone is giving importance then also it is less number. Instead everyone is giving importance to academics. If ever a child is talented in sports his parents and teachers tell him to leave that and give importance to studies and get some good job.
