If inert gases such as Helium is unreactive. Then how are stored if they don't even form diatomic molecule...........Please give full explanation.

ameyashrivastav: I was looking for its answer too! What a coincedence
ameyashrivastav: Really tough.
ScienceMaster1: Haha
ScienceMaster1: I got this question accidentally when i looked at helium gas balloon
ameyashrivastav: Yeah
ameyashrivastav: Maybe it is monoatomic.
ameyashrivastav: waht do u think?
ScienceMaster1: Definitely, it's a Monoatomic.......
ScienceMaster1: What happens when we keep less and Increase the pressure
ScienceMaster1: less volume*

Ya! He is unreactive because of lack of valence e-s for bonding. but he stored because any gas it may be unreactive diffused in atmosphere if it open.

ScienceMaster1: I asked how it is stored......... what happens in a tank containing he gas we keep increasing pressure
