Units of velocity and acceleration???
Let u = 5m/s and a = -2m/s^2
S = u + a(n - 1/2)
S = 5 + ((-2)(5 - 1/2))
S = -4 m

Distance = 4m

Answer:

Distance = 600 m.

Explanation:

Given -

  • Initial Velocity(u) =5m/s
  • Acceleration(a) = (-2)m/s²
  • Time(t) =5 secs.

To Find-

  • Distance(s).

Solution -

\mapstoAnswer- [after replacing values]

\implies ㅤv=5+(-2)×5

\impliesㅤ v= 5(-10)

\implies ㅤv= (-5)

s = ut  +   \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}

\mapsto Answer -

 = (5  \times 5)  +   \frac{1}{2} ( - 2 ) \times  {5}^{2}  \\  \\  = 25 + ( - 1) \times 25 \\  \\  = 24 \times 25  \\  \\  = 600 \: m

So, distance is 600 m.
