If Insectivorous plants have chlorophyll, and can make their own food, why do they eat insects??

They consume insects to suffice their nitogen requirements.Nitrogen is required in plants for protien synthesis.These plants,i.e.,insectivorous,are usually found in soils with low nitrogen content,therefore have a requirement for nitrogen in their body.
Hence,these plants consume insects even though they have chlorophyll to synthesize glucose.
