The intensity of sound is increased by factor of 30.
Let I be the intensity of previous sound.
then, a/c to above line , intensity of recent sound , I' = 30I

we know, \beta=10log\frac{I}{I_0}

for case 1 :- when intensity of sound is I,
\beta_1=10log\frac{I}{I_0} ......(1)

case 2 :- when intensity of sound is I',
\beta_2=10log\frac{30I}{I_0} ......(2)

now, increased in sound level = \beta_2-\beta_1

10log\frac{30I}{I_0}-10log\frac{I}{I_0}

10log\frac{30I}{I}

=10log(30)

= 14.77dB
