Sum of angles in a triangle = 180º

Solve x:

2x + (3x - 20) + 4x = 180

2x + 3x - 20 + 4x = 180

9x - 20 = 180

9x = 200

x = 22.2º

Answer : x = 22.2.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Additional Information:

Find the angles:

2x = 2 (22.2) = 44.4º

3x - 20 = 3(22.2) - 20 = 46.6º

4x = 4(22.2) = 88.8º

2x+3x-20+4x= 180 degrees
9x=180+20
9x = 200
x= 200/9
=22.2 degrees
then the angles are 44.4, 46.6, 88.8

hope this is useful to you
