$\sqrt{m} = \sqrt{4} = 2$

Here l is inversly proportion to m

$6 \times 2 = 4 \times m$

$12 = 4m$

$m = \frac{12}{4} = 3$

m = 3

So,

${m}^{2} = {3}^{2} = 9$
