hii mate!!

ST meridian passes through 82.5 degree .

Differenc between two given longitudes= 9.5 degrees.

As we know 1 degree= 4 minutes, therefore 9.5 degrees= 4 x 9.5= 38 minutes.

Thus, time is 10+38 minutes= 10:38 AM

hope it helps!!☺☺☺

10:38 A.M. would be the local time at Shillong with 92° longitude.

Step-by-step explanation:

As we know,

India's standard meridian lies at 82° 30' East.

Given that,

Longitude of Shillong = 92° E

So,

The distinction between the two longitudes = 92° E - 82° 30'E

= 9.5°

Since 1° = 4 minutes

The time difference between Indian Standard Time and Shillong would be

= 4 * 9.5

= 38 minutes

Thus,

10:00 AM + 38 minutes

= 10:38 AM

Therefore, Shillong's time would be 38 minutes ahead of IST.
