  • The Earth rotates once in 24 hours. From that we can write one equation.
  • 360°=24 hrs, 1°=?=(24÷360)=0.0667 hours= 4 minutes.
  • That means Earth rotates distance of 1° in 4 minutes. So, to rotate 30 degrees it will require 120 minutes or 2 hours more.
  • The place towards East of Greenwich will have time ahead of Greenwich and western place will have time before as Earth rotetes east to west.
  • So, Time at 30°E=120 minutes more than 10 am
  • =12 noon
  • Time at 20° W= 20×4=80 minutes less than 10 am
  • = 8:40 am
