hey there ,,

as we know that rhombus bisects each other at 90° .

than ,

angle x = 90°

let the angle beside x be w

therfore ,

angle x + angle w = 180° (by linear pair )

therefore angle w = 90°

now we know that sum of all angles of a triangle is = 180°

let the other angle be z of the triangle

therefore ,

90° + 68° + z = 180°

z = 12°

now ,

we know that opposite sides are parallel of a rhombus

therefore ,

angle z = angle y ( by alternate interior angles )

angle y = 12°

hence angle x = 90° and angle z = 12°

hope it helps !!!

Let abcd be a rhombus
with angle c = 68 degrees
angle a = y

we know that diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular bisector
I.e ad and bc bisect at 90 degrees
therefore,
x =90 degrees ..............( 1 )

diagonals intersect at point o
hence,
AB and CD are parallel lines with bc as the transversal
therefore,
angel OCD = angel OBA = 68 degrees ...............( 2 )

Now, in triangle ABO
angle A + angle B + angle O = 180 degrees ( Angle Sum Property)
y + 68 + 90 = 180 degrees ( 1 and 2 )
y + 158 = 180
y = 180 - 158 ( transposing 158 to RHS )
y = 22 degrees

Answer : x = 90 degrees and
y = 22 degrees.
