The best axiom that illustrates this statement is "when equals are subtracted to the equals then the wholes are equal."

2 more example according to the given axiom above are given bellow : -

1) if a = b = c then by using the given axiom above a - b + c = a - b + c

2) if 10 + x = 10 + y ( because x = y ) then by using the given axiom above 10 + x = 10 + y
