if the particle reaches the same point at a distance R thrown wit a same initial velocity the particle is thrown at complementary angles from the horizontal

∵Sin(90-∅)=cos∅...... (2)

\frac{sintheta}{costheta} = tan∅........(3)

so, from 1 2 & 3,

\frac{T_{1} }{T_{2} }= tan∅
