If it is safe to jump from a height of 5 m on earth what will be corresponding safe height on the moon (safety depends on the velocity of reaching ground).

Near about 30m as on earth g=9.8 and on moon it is 1.6 so by using 3rd eq. of motion we can compare velocity and hence find the safe distance to jump

On Earth, the velocity on reaching the ground:
        v² - u² = 2 g h
       v = √(2* 10 *5 ) = 10 m/s

On the moon:
       v² = 2 g' h               g' = 10 /6 m/s^2

       h = 10² / (2 * 10/6)
           = 30 meters high.
