we didn't evolve from monkeys. monkeys and Humans have evolved from the same species known as homo sapiens. so there are still monkeys .

THIS IS BECAUSE EVOLVING FROM AN ANIMAL TO ANOTHER ANIMAL DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE PRE EXISTING ANIMALS WILL GO EXTINCT.
WHAT THIS MEANS IS THAT THE NEW ANIMALS WILL BE BETTER THAN THE PRE EXISTING ANIMALS AT SOME INSTANCES.

well the thing is all monkeys evolved from some atate to a smarter state si we can not say that any specie did not evolve....
make re over you can get rrsult from just 1 or even 10 generations of monkey...... Evolution take a huge amount of time(1000s and 1000s of generations)....
