We know, all sides are equal for an equilateral triangle.

Let x be the side of the equilateral triangle.

☞ Perimeter of triangle = Sum of all sides

➱ 300 = x + x + x

➱ 3x = 300

➱ x = 100 cm

Now,

☞ Area of equilateral triangle

= √ 3 × a² /4

= √3 × (100)² /4

= 2500√3

=4330.13 cm²

Hence, the area of equilateral triangle is = 4330.13cm².
