If it said that, there is no real progress in the idea of evolution, then what evolution is'? Explain.

Hey! Here is your answer....

Evolution is only the generation of diversity and its shaping through natural selection and genetic drift.

Evolution of a new species by no way means the extinction of the ancestral species.

The new species is only more complex in structure and is nit better than the older species

Thus, evolution can be visualised as a tree with many brancges at the same level.

-Evolution cannot be equated with progress.

There is no real ' Progress' in the idea of evolution.

Evolution is simply the generation of diversity and the shaping of the diversity by environmental selection.

The only progressive trend in evolution seems to be that more and more complex body designs have emerged over time.

However, again, it is not as if the older designs are ineffcient!
