Answer:

Answer: Six men get 3m dug in 4 days, so their rate is 4/3 days per meter. Then 6 men would take 7*4/3 = 28/3 days to dig a hole 7m deep. But you're using 10 men so they will take (6/10) * (28/3) days, which comes to 5.6 days

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

if 6 men can dig 3 metres deep in 4 days the we have to find how much 1 man can dig i metre deep

so first 6 men = 3 metres

            1 men = x

cross multiply an x=6/3

                            x= 2 metres

1 man = 2 metres in 4 days

now we have to find how many days for 1 metre

so 2 metre = 4 days

    1 metre = x

cross multiply and x= 4/2

                              x= 2 days

So 1 man can dig 1 metre in 2 days

1 man = 2 days

10 man = 10 * 2 = 20 days

1 metre = 20 days

7 metres = 140 days

So the final Answer is 10 man = 7 metres = 140 days
