Every school boy wishes to be the monitor of his class. But the job of a monitor is not an easy one. Very few boys possess the qualities of a successful monitor. The monitor must be strong and healthy and good at studies. If I were the monitor, I would perform my duties very well.
The main job of monitor is to maintain discipline in the absence of the teacher. Many boys quarrel and make mischief in the teacher. Many boys quarrel and make mischief in the class room. I shall try to control the class. I shall keep the teacher informed about naughty boys. If anything happens against the interests of the school, it will be reported to the Principal, Discipline cannot be maintained only by force. If requires all the qualities of a good student.
