If jagbeer invests ₹10320 on ₹100 shares at a discount of ₹ 14, then the no. Of shares he buys is?

Answer:

given : investment = Rs 10,320,

FV = Rs 100, discount = Rs 14

to find: number of shares bought

no of shares = investment / MV of share

MV = FV - Discount

MV = 100 - 14 = Rs 86

therefore number of shares = 10320/86

=> 5160/43

=> 120 shares
