Age of his younger sister = x-8

After 10 years,

Age of Joy=x+10

Age of younger sister=x-8+10=x+2

(x+10)+(x+2)=50

2x+12=50

2x=50-12

2x=38

x=38÷2

x=19

Present age of Joy = x = 19

Present age of his younger sister=x-8 = 19-8=11
