That is 3k-(k+1)=4k+2-3k

by solving this linear equations we can find the value of k

            3k-(k+1)=4k+2-3k\\\\3k-k-1=4k-3k+2\\\\2k-1=k+2\\\\2k-k=2+1\\\\k=3
