They are in Ap so

2(k + 3) = k -1 + 3k -1

2k + 6 = 4k -2

2k - 4k = -2 -6

-2k = -8

k = 4

Answer:

K = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

If the numbers are in AP then,

2(K + 3) = K - 1 + 3K - 1

=> 2K + 6 = 4K - 2

=> 2K = 8

=> K = 4
