If k-1, k+3and 3k-1 are in ap then find the value of k

HELLO DEAR,

We know that:-

in Ap

d = second term- first term = third term - second term

(k+3) - (k-1) = (3k-1) - (k+3)

=> k+3-k+1 = 3k-1-k-3

=> 4 = 2k-4

=> 8 = 2k

=> k =8/2

=> k =4
