It is not clear whether division is only on the term log6.25 or on the whole three terms. I am assuming it to be on whole three terms otherwise the first two term won't solve
k = (log 25 - log 4 + log 6.25 )/ log 0.0256
k = ( log 5^2 - log 2^2 + log (625/100)) / log (256/10000)
k = (2 log 5 - 2 log 2 + (log 625 - log 100)) / (log 256 - log 10000)
k = (2log5 - 2log2 + (log 5^4 - log (2^2*5^2))) / (log2^8 - log (2^4*5^4))
k = (2log5 - 2log2 + (4log5 - log 2^2 - log5^2)) /(8 log2 - log 2^4 - log 5^4)
k = (2(log5 - log2) + (4log5 - 2log2 - 2log5))/(8log2 - 4log2 - 4log5)
k = (2(log5 - log2) + (2log2 - 2log5)/(4log2 - 4log5)
k = (log2 - log5) (-2 + 2) / (log2 - log5)
k = 0
