Here, we have kx²+1=kx+3×−11k²

(k+11)x ²

−(k+3)x+1=0

a=k+11

⇒b=−(k+3) and c=1

Since, given equation has real & equal roots, so D = 0

b ²

−4ac=0

(−k−3) ²

−4(k+11)(1)=0

+2k−35=0

⇒(k+7)(k−5)=0

k=−7,5.
